Occupational Health
Occupational health refers to the identification and control of risks arising from a wide variety of hazards in order to establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment. Hazards may be physical, chemical, biological, or psychological.
Synapse Occupational Health focuses primarily on the identification of risks associated with healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), indoor air quality, and microbial matter providing qualitative and quantitative assessment of the environmental, healthcare, and business risk. Once the risks have been appropriately quantified, Synapse works with our clients to develop effective intervention and educational programs to reduce risk, liability, and loss. Once the appropriate risk management programs have been developed and implemented, the Synapse team can determine the best approach utilizing an insurance component to minimize risk and optimize returns.
